Purple Rain...or Dishwater

My mom and grandma knit dishcloths. They've been doing it for years, and I've been collecting them for about as long. In fact, Heather and I both brought a handsome dowry of dishcloths to our marriages (instead of cows, of course). But I tell you what, nothing works better. I've tried many a dish-washing gadget  in my day and nothing has come close to these.

Mom was sweet enough to bring me a red, white and blue one for the Fourth of July. I was super excited to use it washing dishes today; however, unfortunately in my excitement I forgot to prewash it. The result:

the prettiest dishwater I've ever seen.

Now my dishcloth is
red, purple and blue.

Sorry, Mom. But thanks for making washing dishes so much fun!

I agree--the best ever!! And mine did the exact same thing! Except mine was a bit more on the pink side. But still just as fun!
